Make sure that there's no glue on the stud's threads or inside the capnuts when you start to torque them down. It can cause a hydraulic lock and give false torque readings. Only apply the glue to the flat surface of the capnut where it meets the head.

Also ... you should "chase" the threads on the studs and in the capnuts with a tap and die so the capnuts will spin down on the studs freely.
