also for putting in a type 1 T-stat you can just tap the original nut to 7x1.00 that holds the cable to the T-stat. i just preformed this same game on a 81 westi. now if i could only find a cheap source for a engine seal and lower engine tin. anyone got any ideas?? thanks Jonce
