I checked that again just now to see if you could just connect a POL fitting to draw vapor. (I have a valve sitting next to me and my adaptor as well. Have been using them as a paper weight as I keep forgetting to put them back where they belong) The POL connector does not contact anything down in the valve area. It is the incoming pressure that opens the flap valve. BTW this valve would be easily rebuildable as the valve has a small rubber seal on it for the contact surface with a nut and a washer holding it in place and supporting it. jimt
