Finding a tranny in Vancouver ( I think) is difficult because there are
sooooo many vanagons here....yes I know it sounds odd, but people keep
them going, so there isn't a supply of parts vehicles...

But might be worth trying the Bug Stop in Surrey

And yes, from the comments on this list it seems AA in Seattle is the
best bet for a rebuild on the continent....

This does bring up an interesting issue--where does one go for good
transmissions for Vanagons. If you can't find one in a city like
Vancouver, I'd think that would be a bad, bad sign for those of us in
say, Iowa.
