Ah, but there are people that are no more (or less) moronic pay that kinda money (or more) for a 45-53 Split Window Bug or 50-67 Splittie Windshield Type 2 these days. I missed the boat in 1986 when I sold my restored 50 Bug for a measly $7000 and again in 1997 when I sold my (original owner) 67 21 Wdw Dlx Bus for $6500. Both would command over $25,000 each or more today in the condition they were in at the time.
