I agree with Larry totally! My first van was 91 Syncro Westy costing me over 25k. I have repeatedly turned down cash offers over $30,000.00. It is possible to fetch these kind of prices and in my eyes very realistic. What has helped me document the "actual" value is having the van appraised by a professional. Check Hemmings Motor News and antique car magazines for an appraiser in your area. Be prepared for them to look up and down the inside and out of the van. I had them document the entire procedure and take pictures. Off the top of my head, I paid around $400 for the service. Not to mention that I will not get any grief from my insurance company if a claim needs to be filed.

I wish Chris the best of luck selling his awesome van. It will surely go to someone who loves it!!!
