Occasionally I will end up with a leaker bottle after a refill. These I will attach to my valved line and use up. I then attach the fill adapter to the bottle and make sure no pressure and drill it. Then it is just a chunk of scrap metal. DO NOT ATTEMPT WITH A TANK THAT IS NOT TOTALLY EMPTY AND PRESSURE RELIEVED!! This labor process is probably why disposal is costing so much. jimt
