Hello,

also with regards to the the type of seat you have, mine had a back anchor and i ran it over the back seat and this fixed the rocking foward of the seat. I think one of the main factors throwing kid foward and rocking side to side.

take care, Joe

Hi all, I have an 87 Syncro and I need to mount three child seats across in the back seat. Is there a mounting or retrofit kit available for this model? I also own an Audi and it was free to have the dealer install a kit into the back. My local VW dealer is being less than helpful on the availability of such a kit. I understand that 1987 was before the federal mandate that all autos have the L.A.T.C.H. mounting points installed. Is this something that anyone else has run up against? I don't have a center seat and like the extra room that I have. Has anyone ever rigged a latch system from another car? Thanks, Oliver
