Hi All, Remember those nickel sized, blue reflectors, for hot rods, folks set into their tail lights. I've got a pair. Are they legal? best, John C... In a message dated 10/14/2005 11:18:11 A.M. Pacific Daylight Time, fortino1@EARTHLINK.NET writes:

Couldnąt find anything for colorado and then discovered that there is no law for "passive" and is defaulted to "active" warning/signaling devices.

From what I was told... Red on front is forbidden, green is restricted for street signage. Blue is restricted to certain emergency types Yellow on sides is okay Red is for the rear and in some cases the rear wraps around a little bit.

How this is defined is also up to the local jurisdictions as well. Put on a set of those colored light windshield washer things and drive around the denver metro area and you will get many different definitions as you cross the various jurisdictions. Because there is no really set code you will get as many definitions as jurisdictions.
