I bought a few of these rebuild kits for my auto stop valve and have rebuilt two different ones with good results. I paid about 11.00 each for the kits from my local dealer and mine can with about 5 seals although it's normally only two that go bad. Some of the kits come with a small amount of lube to put on the rubber O-rings to keep them from drying out over time.

In speaking to the tech guy he told me Vaseline or or silicone gel works fine. One thing you need to do is really clean the brass well. Karl passed this tip onto me and it's extended the amount of time between rebuilds to a few years but rest a sure the rebuilds only last so long. . .

Hello, I finally tried to order a rebuild kit for the auto stop valve.Manchester tank, the maker of this kit, wont sell directly, and gave me the number of a major rv parts dealer to order it Well , turns out this kit which contains 2 o-rings costs $29.95.Dosent sound right. Oh well. Think I'll keep my current o-rings.An equal amount of gold is cheaper. What I will do is disassemblel the valve and lubricate the parts. Anybody know what is the proper lubricant?
