Who's breaking the law? The dealer who swaps a defective valve with a new manual valve, and bleeder?

As long as the tank pressure tests OK there is no law broken.

The manual valve fits perfect.

Now, I if I mambo on in to a RV parts counter and buy a manual valve, and bleeder and swap the jumk aluminum non-repairable ato stop valve--I'm braking the law?

What law?

The propane valve changing law?

No such thing.

Actually I'm doing the populace a service by disposing of the defective auto stop garbage, and updating to a valve that actually works.

I thought the inland waterway management agency, and / or the Northern Pike manifistation board regulated the use of autostop valves and propane use.

I talked to Manchester years ago about this problem. They didn't make the valve at all. They simply bought out the outfit that did, and it just so happened that Westfalia was uning their tanks with this junk valve hunk on it. So when the valves went bad, they get all the phone calls.

They turned me onto a real nice guy in Colorado, who does nothing but service, and sell RV propane equipment. I asked what was wrong with converting from the stick non-filling autostop valve, and he turned me onto the manual set up. And told me it was a perfect fix.

What does he know? Probably not much. But he is in the RV propane business, and I figured that he know's more than most, and the valve set up he sent me not only fit perfect, but works as it is supposed to.

Absolutley flawless in performance.

Now Joe--give me a legit written valve changing statute from somewhere.
