Alfred, I have a remote starter button in the engine compartment of my '85 Westy. It does come in handy. I picked up the starter button type switch at Wal*Mart for about $2.98. The switch is located on the forward bulkhead of the engine compartment and the 2 wires go to the starter. One to the BIG terminal where the wires from the battery and the alternator meet and one to the small "Push on" terminal where the wire from the ignition switch goes. I didn't use a relay as it's a heavy duty switch and I haven't had any trouble with it in the 3 or so years that it's been there.
