>The horn on my recently purchased '87 GL isn't working. Checked/replaced/reseated all fuses on the panel to no avail. Anybody got any tips for troubleshooting? I checked the archives, nothing there. One easy test would be to apply battery power directly to the horn. If nothing happens, the horn is dead and you don't have to dig into the wiring. > >Also, is there a way to disconnect the buzzer attached to the oil sensor light? I want the light, but the buzzer is way annoying. You should only hear the buzzer if the engine loses oil pressure when running above 2000 RPM. If that's what you are hearing, you have either a bad oil pressure sensor or serious engine problems. If it's buzzing at other times, you have a problem in the oil pressure warning circuit. Bill |
