FYI Just a followup so others know The old 70's ford chrome window cranks with the philips screws esp, the ford econoline van do work **BUT** -the standard vanagon screw is too short & the head is to fat to fit the crank recess so you have 2 choices a) find another screw say 1/4" longer with smaller head or b) counter sink the face of the crank *AND* hack saw off 2/16" of the crank on the side that fits the gear on the door

I went option b & these cranks clear my speaker grills by at lease 1/4" :) (I do admit i did lean on the crank in the vice for a bit extra:)
