Something kind of funny about vangon owners protesting to to Volkswagen. We all have a big sign on our backs that says "pteradactyl here, we are weird people that like old cars and expressly do not buy new cars!!" How much do you think they care about offending that segment of the market?? At least indicate that you have fancy new Jettas and whatever else they put in the marketplace at this time.

You have made a marketing blunder here, keeping 'Volks' in the public's eye is GOOD for your business. If you are worried about the legal aspects, then license the name for $10. My next car might just be a Toyota! Shame on VW. Malcolm Stebbins, 1991 T3 Syncro Westy and 1997 Jetta TDI
