Th could build a product loyalty that you wouldn't beleive. But are they doing that?? No. Instead they are digging themselves a hole. I for one, at this point, will never buy one of their new products. John Rodgers ------------------------ Clip --------------------------- Things are supposed to change with time. GM and Ford changed everything by building crappy cars from about 1972 through ?? Now. Ford did the same thing as well as Chrysler. They American Big Three automakers are responsible for their own failures in market share. I've heard Mercedes owners state "With the intro of the C series, Mercedes is just another car". BMW has done similar marketing moves by building down to compete with the Asian market. VW hasn't got that good of a reputation in the US with VW owners. They're expensive to fix, the dealers are elitists, they hold almost nothing in their parts departments and are prone to keep your car 4 days waiting for parts delivery when they could just schedule you work after the part arrives. Depreciation on some cars is over 30% the first year of ownership and with 72 month financing the buyers are always "Upside Down" in their cars. Now that's a great way to build loyalty, at least for 60 minths or so.
