Yes Stephen, we do have a lot of Westy's here in Vancouver, everywhere I go I pass them. Strangely enough, and we've discussed this on the list, no-one waves in the City. I've waved at many, and received nothing in return, not even a look - maybe that is due to the volume that we have up here.

I camp every second weekend, pretty much all year round, and in the fall Porteau Cove is a favorite, north of Horseshoe Bay right on the ocean, and it's very calm and peaceful this time of year. It is tough to get in, as many people now have motorhomes and camp all year. I try and leave on a Friday to get in for the weekend. It's a provincial site so pricey at $22/night, but the view is well worth it.

Minutes after leaving the Vancouver B.C. airport in a rental car my head began swiveling and did not stop all week.

Also interestingly, and as I noticed during a Colorado trip a few years back, it seems like every other house has a camper/trailer/RV of some sort in the drive. I guess if you live in a beautiful place like that, you feel compelled to buy a camper of some sort so you can get out and enjoy it more. I certainly would.
