I was very hesitant about doing my ps rack install last Spring, and I put if
off for quite a while. When I did it, it was not nearly as difficult as I
had thought. I did have to take the windshield washer reservoir out to get
at some things more easily, but it wasn't too bad.

Fortunately, I still had the old one when I put the new one in, because the
new one didn't come with the rubber bushings where it mounts to the body,
and the little rubbed plastic piece around the spline for the centering
indicator, either. There is a little mark that indicates where it is
centered. That is also what someone is supposed to use when they are doing a
front-end alignment. If the rack is centered, then you'll have equal turns
of hte wheel left and right.

I found some instructions online that were more detailed than the Bentley.
I'll try to remember where I got them.
