The American way is that what ever happens it will cost the consumer more .What I think is that all these gas stations will be converted. Instead of gas , they will dispence batteriesor your car.Cars will be manufactured for ez in and out of these batteries.I mean , where will apartment owners hookup a plug to recharge? With a 60-80 mile range, one would just pull in to a "gas station" and get a new battery installed to keep going.You could drive to California and back this way. The stations will have batteries located underground, and a lift will raise the battery into the car like the pit that Jiffy lube has.Only take 2 minutes. Exxon (ESSO)will charge a large deposit on these batteriws so that you will only go to a Exxon station to get your new battery. Of course the battery will be made so you cant recharge it at home.That would be stealing, right? |
