Of course given the reliability of my 2001 Golf in the 4 years I have had it... VW could be making the right step [ in the near term] of letting Daimler help them with the mini van. Apparently the new Jettas coming out of Mexico are having problems which certainly wont help VW Fix their sales slide. Who knows? Maybe the venture will get all the good VW stuff and none of the Bad [ it could happen....i think...] I drove a Ford Galaxy people mover in Ireland this summer [ a joint venture with VW] 6 speed stick, Tdi, all VW dash and components..... Not a bad collaborative [ an old one too...]
