NBA mice may not be able to jump, but the deer mouse can jump, and several of the "jumping" mice species are quite good jumpers. VOLES (alias Meadow Mice, Field Mice, etc.) Genus: Microtus Lousy jumpers but very good climbers and some are good burrowers Range in size from a couple inches to 8 inches (with tails) Range in color from yellow to bown to grey About 20 species in north america Almost all habitats occupied Rarely found in dwellings occupied by humans. --however seem to like vanagons with or without human occupants.-- jimt
