I've been reading about the problems that Jonce is having, and I wonder if I'm having the same issues.


About three weeks ago I noticed that my van would "pause" when accelerating, like it would if you had dirty gas.  It wouldn't happen often.  It's getting worse lately, and it feels like when I'm accelerating, that something is trying to hold me back, and if I floor the gas the van starts to buck, until I back off the gas a bit.  Several times it's stalled completely and doesn't want to start back up again.  I had the distributor and coil changed, the mechanic put it on the scope and everything appears to be running fine.


When I was down in Leavenworth I filled up at Aarco, and aftwards I heard their gas isn't the best quality.  I've filled up since then but wonder if maybe I've got "bits" in the gas that are blocking?


I am also noticing slight surges in power, where it idles a bit higher and then goes back down to normal.


Any ideas anyone?  I stalled again this morning and had to roll start......
