1. Start smoking and use the cigarette lighter for what it is intended. or 2. Have the Hula girl hold up the arm.

If the arm stays vertical at night (when you need the light), why does it matter that it droops during the day?

Is there a way to tighten the outlet? Not that I know of. And, if you let it spin far enough, eventually the connector wires will break off.
