I used large narrow piece of heater around the unit with a nylon zip tie pulled tight. Worked well. You will likely need to pull the lighter to see where this fits, but remove the glove box, do the contortion thing, and you might be able to see how thin a piece you need.

You can even cut the hose and fit it over without removing even the wires, if you are skilled. If you need a piece of the hose, let me know and perhaps I can mail you some, if I still have any. p-mail for that request though
