my dad still owns the first car he ever bought..   a '63 Ford Falcon Sprint
Convertible...260 V8..all chromed out from the factory.. 3 spd manual column
shift...black sport interior w/ buckets seats and factory tachometer.. what a
blast to drive :<)  aside from the body, the car is virtually identical to the
64 mustang..

ford must have done something right, that thing has over 250k mi on the
original engine and its never been out or rebuilt.. its been all over the USA.  he
drove it pretty much every day as a daily driver from '63 up until 1980, when
he had it restored..   we have pics of that car going thru a hollowed out
giant redwood tree in yosemite natnl forest, and on the beach in florida... my dad
still has the removeable platform he made for me to sleep on as a newborn on
the back seat when we moved to PA from california in 75..
