I think lots of us use Michelin 215/75 15 M/S. I have the 100/97Rs and run them at 50 psi. Never had any problems with stability and the ride is nice. I try very hard to keep it under 106 mph.

I have a heavier engine and the rears pooch out just a bit more than the fronts, even at 50psi. I think mine were $140 each at Big-O a couple of years ago, so $7 wouldn't make a big diff to me.
