Of course ­ given the reliability of my 2001 Golf in the 4 years I have had
it...

VW could be making the right step [ in the near term] of letting Daimler
help them with the mini van.

Apparently the new Jettas coming out of Mexico are having problems ­ which
certainly wont help VW

Fix their sales slide.   Who knows? Maybe the venture will get all the good
VW stuff and none of the

Bad [ it could happen....i think...]

I drove a Ford Galaxy people mover in Ireland this summer [ a joint venture
with VW]

6 speed stick, Tdi, all VW dash and components..... Not a bad collaborative
[ an old one too...]
