It's the TPS that isn't right.
You mentioned you checked it / adjusted it before.
What ohm readings did you have at idle and wide open throttle?
When a helper was holding the gas pedal down,what readings did you have?
What kind of vacuum readings did you have at closed throttle?


This is all TPS related stuff, and you'll continue having the same
problem's until it's corrected.


Do you have an early 85 or a late 85?


The difference is a low speed switch, and a high speed switch, or just
one that does it all in the later model.
