this morning, very cold here in the northeast, i went out to start my vanagon..and i noticed 2 wet spots on the ground as i backed up.. GAS!

popped over the rear lid and gas was dripping out of both fuel injector rails at a good rate, where the rubber hoses were clamped on. turns out all the screws on every single clamp was way loose.. they all needed to be tightened up..

this was a fuel line replacement kit bought new a few yrs ago . all new lines and clamps.

anyway, my point is, those of you who have installed a fuel line replacement kits such as those that listvendors sell, you should go BACK and check your fuel line clamps...make sure they are tight.. i think it was the combination of the temp drop, and rubber shrinkage that made them come loose...

chris
