the way an O2 sensor reads to counter intuitive to most, since most think that it represents how much fuel is in the exhaust. It makes sense to us, but the sensor reads Oxygen to arrive at an A/F reading, which is where people get crossed up. It's a common mistake.

My 87' Turbo Syncro recently developed a mysterious miss from 1800-3k RPM, load didn't matter. After weeks of futzing with it, it turned out it was the plug gap; it had grown as the plugs wore and ended up being too big. Tightening the gaps and it purrs again.

Too much gap and it really stresses the wires, since the spark only needs an alternate way to reach ground then the high impedence plug-gap. My wires were new, but couldn't contain the spark with the huge gaps.
