<<VW could be making the right step [ in the near term] of letting Daimler help them with the mini van.>>

Oh Yea.

Especially seeing as Benz, Mopar, Freightshaker, Detriot Diesel, has been in bed with Mitsu for some time, this Van will more than likely have a Land of the Rising Sun Engine for propulsion.

Good move.

It'll be a real morphodite.

One step forward. Three steps back.

What VW should do is get their heads outa their butts and manufacture a no frills vehicle that is half assed dependable and built for the long haul again.

Forget about outsourcing the building of another off the wall yuppie mobile.

Seeing as they are the current winner's of the low man on the totem pole award as far as customer satisfaction, and vehicle dependability, they should work on getting their act together first, on their own, then maybe consider joint venture's.

How many of you would actually pick up a payment book for anything VW has to offer right now?
