The latch seems fairly difficult to close now..even with the whistle...is that an indication of how tight it is now? I'll look it over. If we get another warm day here I may attempt it...as it's already turned cold messing with tiny parts, force and glass probably should wait. Of course, after I fix the whistle I'll have the rest of the noises a 25 year old Vanagon makes to remedy. ; )
