The 2.1 oil cooler can be added to a 1.9. You will need to use a shorter oil filter or change to the 2.1 exhaust.

Dont know if the cooler can be added to a 1.9. Dont be mislead by the coolers small size. This is a liquid to liquid heat exchange. A comparable air to liquid exhanger would be about 25 times larger in area.This would just about match one of those aftermarket auxillery auto transmission coolers.The kind with the fins and needs air to blow through the coil. One point to consider is that the rubber gasket can fail when the weather gets cold any you can get a leak of oil.So whats new.
