Kevin, no suggestions for Baja places but I'm  interested in the responses
you get as Rita & I will be heading down  into Baja in late January after
attending _Busses By the Bridge - Presented by  London Bridge Bullis_
(http://www.busesbythebridge.com/)  mid January.  We have four months, leaving Almonte
around the 1st of January and back by end of April.  We will go to La Paz  and
cross the ferry to Mazitlan then down to Puerto Escondidio.  I will be  checking
into my e-mail as often as possible so keep in touch.
