Mine quit on my 90 Carat recently. I would rather go aftermarket that trace down the issue, but I worry about how the aftermarket will mount in the steering column. How does the unit you used fit on the steering column/stalk. Mark Magee 90 Carat 95K Kemah TX USA

I have an Equus 9000 that I installed on my '85 Westy (an old "new in box" eBay item). I added a vacuum reservoir at the time of installation and the CC operates smoothly and doesn't "kick out" on hills.

I love it!
