So I want to change my power steering filter, just for the hell of it (and partly to try to make sure that the steering wheel moan, since departed, doesn't come back. Bentley says that the filter is in the reservoir, or at least I think it says that. So I ordered a filter and it came in yesterday (Schuck's). It is a pencil-like filter that fits in the return line, or so it says on the wrapping. Is this correct, or did they send me the wrong filter? Should I use both or should I continue to try and find a different one that looks like in the Bentley? Can I manually clean the one in the reservoir and, for ultra-protection, insert the in line one. Discerning minds want to know???? Don |
