Swapping the cluster was a waste of time, since BOTH the alt led and OX led stopped working at the same time. There is nothing common between these as far as components in the cluster. All that is common between them is the long section of blue wire from connector T2b behind the dash all the way to the alternator. That wire must have a good connection all the way. You mentioned having installed a aux battery relay as when the problem started. Perhaps you mis-wired the relay and it's connection to the blue wire. How did you connect up the relay?
