Buddy Heaters don't work too good at high altitude. The low Ox sensor keeps shutting it off at 8,000- 10,000 feet (Ski trips if your wondering). Also leaves condensation on the windows but a neat portable heater. I hooked up an external hose with small tank outside which also provides the required venting. >From: JordanVw@AOL.COM >Reply-To: JordanVw@AOL.COM >To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM >Subject: Re: heater >Date: Thu, 3 Nov 2005 16:34:39 EST > >In a message dated 11/3/05 2:13:46 PM Eastern Standard Time, >Neal354@WMCONNECT.COM writes: > > > > Today i was in Home Depot looked at buddy heaters propane you can use >the > > one > > pound or 20 pound sign on box states indoor safe the good part $79 and > > change, Later Neal > > > > > >those work great, they will also melt a hole in your seats too :<) > >chris |
