I currently use 2 different heaters for my VW. For propane I have a Zodi Hot Vent which I set up outside on a 20lb tank with a tree, or hanging from the mirror using a disposable bottle. http://www.zodi.com/web-content/Consumer/zodihotvent.html For electric I use a Vortex which is super quiet & heats the Vanagon very evenly, with a low variable amp draw (120vac) http://store.yahoo.com/comfort/vorvorporhea.html I do plan on installing a propex heater during my Scamp trailer restoration so it has a perminant heater. Do you or anyone else have recommendations about electric heaters? Thanks, Larry A. |
