Hi all, I was in the process of replacing my drug dealer destroyed lower cargo doors with decent used ones. Upon closer examination of the replacement doors, I noticed that the pivots for the hinges (actually the part of the hinge that stays in the door) were badly damaged by a careless cutting wheel wielder. In other words, I need to replace them. Does anyone here have any experience with R&R of the hinges? Are the hinge pins just driven in and held by friction? everything looks welded/corroded together. When I wire brushed the area, it looks like one-piece with the hinge. But then I know it is not because I have another door with pin missing. I am also trying to save the rubber gasket as it appears to be in excellent condition. Mine are missing. Are these guys just glued on or what? There was a silicone bead all the way around of which most were easy to remove. The gasket doesn't seem to want to part with the channel in the door. I knew how they were attached, I can take proper measures to conserve them. Thanks in advance, -- BenT
