yes the type 1 rod bearing is the same as the WBX rod bearing

the std rod journal size is 2.165 so you have a 0.020ths under crank on the rods and you need a 0.020ths or .50 mm rod bearing

The best way to clean the case is in a jet wash cabinet with a non caustic solution this way you have no mess on the ground when you are done. Ask around see what the local machine shops have for a solution in there washers.

The moving parts could be balanced I have found out over time that grinding the main bearing journals even slightly offset throws the balance off more than any other rebuilding process so I would be more inclined to balance a ground crank than I would a std crank.

The 1.9 engine is not rebuilt as much as it once was and I have std cranks for alot less money than a balance job.

The reason you took the engine apart did not come up in your last post. I take that to mean that you did not find a smoking gun when you took the engine apart. The most common reason for the low oil pressure in the 1.9 is the loose main bearings in the case. new bearing might feel tight BUT the case needs to be bolted together and measured. The next thing that come up when the case is align bored is that the rear main will still be loose because the thrust is pounded. I have had made some rear main bearings with over size thrusts in both .020ths and .040ths align bore sizes.

the difference between reassembling and rebuilding is in rebuilding you restore the crush and clearances and reassembling a monkey can do.

I have any and all parts you might need and can do all the machine work needed to get the job done right.

After saying all that my recomendation would be to install a rebuilt 2.1 engine longer stroke and better engine over all. The stock 2.1 engine fits right in no problem.
