Warning:  Have a drain pan ready to catch the goop when you loosen the
CV bolts.  I have never been able to wash that stuff out of my
coveralls.

You'll need new CV grease, and it's a great time to install new boots
if required.  You'll also need to fill the transmission to its normal
level, so it is also a good time to completely drain and fill the
transmission with fresh gear oil if it's that time.
