i have seen many a flat spare over the years. and just as many that were so low that they may as well have been flat. i have seen quite a few checklists for safety on vehicles with notes to check the spare. but only a few ever mentioned check the air pressure on the spare, and even fewer had notes about it matching the vehicle.
