Hi everyone,

I've been lurking and reading posts and thought it was time to introduce myself. Hubby and I purchased a 1988 Vanagon a year ago this coming January and have been enjoying it ever since. After 9 years of sleeping in a tent it sure is nice to have our "rolling Hilton" (as a friend called it). Initially we used it on weekend trips but now we are looking forward to a serious two week journey in a few weeks. Since we are getting ready for our safari across country I need to ask the group for advice... how do I get the cruise control working? Is the gizmo that makes it work something anyone has the parts for that they would like to sell? I guess I need a cruise control brain? Don't ask me what it's called, LOL. Any information, links, advice, etc. would be appreciated.
