Michael, yes that would be a good project. As soon as work slows down in the shop I will get right on that. Pics and diagrams coming.........but for the moment I have nothing. The fan fits right on the back of the city water outlet after you cut out the center so that you have just the part that screws to the body and the flap. The fan I found had mounting holes that lined up with two of the four city water outlet mounting screws. I installed spring clip screw holders on the fan and used longer screws to mount the outlet and fan at the same time. I use a pop-cicle stick to keep the flap open when the fan is running. I installed an LED lighted switch on the stove front next to the electrical panel that's there. I picked up 12 v power from behind that plate as it has a fused 12 v power input. Another option I though of since is to use a micro switch on the flap so that when the flap is opened the fan comes on.
