Subject: 87westy dreaded delayed starter kicking in - floor stomp incident
              telling sign?
Content-Type: text/plain; format=flowed

Scenario - Turn key then wait a few seconds (variable, becoming longer, sometimes won't start at all) then starter kicks in. Last time it would not start till I banged my foot on the floor while sitting in drivers seat (got this idea from archives saying knock the starter with heavy object but I couldn't do this and turn the key at the same time so hence the floor stomp). Does this suggest a specific remedy? Archives seem to suggest dickering around with it forever and then replacing the starter with a new Bosch after getting fed up with the dickering. Where can I get one if i need to und up doing so?
