Never said there was a big deal, just that I am looking for better regulated oil tempratures. Personal preferance, and all that... I am trying to go the other way at the moment - I want to use a 2.1l cooler on my 1.9, but not as a cooler. I am looking at cold weather here in Michigan, and I would like to WARM my oil faster and more consistantly. Cold, thick oil does not do a very good job, nor does it get rid of water and other contaminants as well. And please don't let's start another dino vs. synth war!

.... COMING SOON TO A THEATRE NEAR YOU.... (cue the Star Wars theme music) ATTACK OF THE SYNTH!!

Is it Friday yet...?

I previously put a 2.1 block into a 1.9 van.

I just removed the oil cooler and swapped the pipe that the oil filter connects to. (just move it over from your old 1.9)

1.9 exhaust works fine, no problems with oil overheating.

No big deal.
