Pull the bolts that hold it to the rail. Remove the aluminum strip that holds the carpet at the door sill. Fold the carpet to the back. Pull out the floor insulation between the rails and the door. Slide out the seat and put everything back in place. It sounds like a pain but it doesn't take long. You'll be surprised at how much room you have in there.
