Richard, Anybody run the cable type chains on syncros or 4wd with snow tires. Just curious, I have had many 4wd before my 87 syncro and "rubber on ice" is still slick. Chains are definitely for the hard core stuff but cables run nice, just wondering if anybody has found a solution similar to the ole studed tires etc. Doug ----- Original Message ----- From: "Richard A Jones" <jones@COLORADO.EDU> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Saturday, November 19, 2005 4:02 PM Subject: Re: Tire Chains for Syncro
