After installation of a Subaru 2.2L engine, within the first 10 miles of driving after the conversion, I achieved 105 MPH ( vehicle was willing to go faster) in my '91 Carat automatic on Interstate 79 just south of Zelienople, PA. At that precise moment, I thought about what a deer jumping out on the highway would do to me and the van, and have never, ever, done it again.
